THE JORDANAIRES ARE COMING TO GALESBURG!!! - 7 p.m.
A BENEFIT CONCERT FOR THE Knox County Child Advocacy Center will be held at 7 p.m. on April 2, 2008 at the Orpheum Theatre, 57 S. Kellogg, Galesburg. It will be “An Elvis Tribute Featuring Al Hull and the Jordanaires” with the Legends Band. All profits after expenses will go to the Child Advocacy Center, which provides services to sexually abused and severely physically abused children from Knox, Warren and Henderson Counties. Tickets will be available only at the Orpheum Theatre starting February 18th. Ticket prices will be $29, $39 and $49. The Orpheum can be contacted at (309) 342-2299 or e-mail www.theorpheum.org. This will be Rock and Roll History right here in Galesburg, especially as this may the last live concert the Jordanaires perform!

National Stearman Fly-In Days - September 1 - 7
The National Stearman Fly-In at Galesburg Municipal Airport is the largest annual gathering of these World War II-era biplanes in the world. Events during the week include programs on Stearman history, operations and maintenance, flying contests, a Dawn Patrol and an airport breakfast Sunday morning. Visitors can take a ram ride along the flight line for an up-close look at the planes.
